Patrick "Patsy" McDade was my papa. He was born on the 12th of January, 1926. Unfortuantly he died on the 25th of June, 2004 at the age of 78. He died peacefully in his bed, the best way to go. He lived most of his life in rawyards, Airdrie.
"Patsy" was the rock of the family, the whole family loves him. He was a nice man, always cared for his family and friends spent most of his time in the pub he had plenty of friends. He was a great man his wife Helen McLauglin they were together a very long time and loved each other dearly.
He has 9 children, 7 Daughters, one of which is up there with him, he also has two Sons and numerous granchildren and great granchildren.
He served in the Army as a dessert Rat, He Had Several Stories to tell about it, most of which i still remember to this day. My Papa was a great man and several of the family still look up to him including me. He was always a working man he worked in the mines and at several factorys as a labourer.
He means the world to the family, He may not be with us but he is still in everyones hearts.
Love you And Miss You, From all the family
Love You Loads Papa From All The GranChildren And Great Granchildren.

In Sympathy
So sorry for your loss. My nan passed away last year and it feels like my whole world has been taken away. My thoughts are with you. God bless. I hope you find this poem of comfort, as I have done. x
What is Dying?
A ship sails and I stand watching till she fades on the horizon and someone at my side says 'She is gone'.
Gone where? Gone from my sight, that is all. She is just as large now as when I last saw her. Her diminished size and total loss from my sight is in me, not in her.
And just at the moment when someone at my side says she is gone there are others who are watching her coming over their horizon and other voices take up a glad shout 'There she comes!'
That is what dying is. An horizon and just the limit of our sight.
Lift us up, Oh Lord, that we may see further.
Love You
